The CAAT partners with the automotive industry to identify educational needs and job opportunities, and facilitates the development of educational programs to prepare for these opportunities.

To prepare students for these positions at the associate degree level, the CAAT has created an Automotive Manufacturing Program with FCA that includes a paid co-op as a Production Supervisor at an FCA manufacturing facility in the Greater Detroit area, and a Vehicle Engineering Technician degree to meet the needs of the advanced automotive industry in electrified and automated/connected vehicles.
