Southeast Michigan Automotive Teachers Association

About Us

Formed in 1998, SEMATA now has more than 130 members.  The founding principle is to create an environment that fosters communication and training among automotive teachers in southeastern Michigan. Each conference includes technical training, compliant with NATEF requirements, along with a tool and equipment show, to help keep our instructors current with the latest technical material.  Conferences are held in the fall and spring of each school year.
