National Science Foundation (NSF) Reports
Annual Summary Reports
Each year ATE centers are required to submit an annual summary report via the NSF’s Fastlane system. This report summarizes the achievements and performance of the center based on key objectives and deliverables. The outside evaluator also contributes to this report. This report is used by the NSF to make funding decisions for the center and strategic changes to the center’s purpose and/or activities.

ATE Survey Results
Since 1999, the Evaluation Center at Western Michigan University (
www.evalu-ate.org) has been funded by the NSF to collect and report information about the NSF’s ATE program on an annual basis. This information is obtained via an annual survey and used by the NSF to report to Congress the activities and achievements of the overall ATE program. This information is not used to evaluate individual centers.
